Chapel Hill Denham chose to base its international investment management operations in the City of London, a centre of global flows of trade and wealth. We use this position as an investment manager to keep our international clients connected to African markets.

Chapel Hill Denham is focused on using its networks in the City to raise capital for Africa. Over the next decade less than 1% of the capital managed by global institutional asset managers can change the course of Africa’s economic and social history, support the planet’s route to zero carbon, and lift more than a billion people out of poverty. A prosperous Africa can feed the world, resource the world, and reverse the migration. The foundation for delivering this outcome is in accelerating the rate of investment into low carbon, resilient infrastructure across Africa.

Our clients are the companies and institutions the public comes into contact with every day. We are part of UK life, and our presence here is part of a long-term strategy. Chapel Hill Denham was founded in Lagos, Nigeria in 2005 to support the internationalisation of business and facilitate trade between Africa and overseas markets; the London business was opened in 2022 as the first International office outside Africa.

So as well as covering the UK, our London office is an integral part of a global network of market knowledge and expertise, through which we can advise and support clients doing business all over the world.
